|
Philips HPI lamps operate from a traditional mercury ballast and a suitable 560-750v ignitor
(with the exception of 415v HPIT 2000W that uses a suitable 1.2kv ignitor)
Philips HPI Plus lamps will also operate from sodium control gear offering an upgrade from yellow to white light.
HPI lamps have a colour temperature of 4500k when operated from a mercury ballast and 3800k when operated on sodium control gear.
